SUperhero Kid’s room
We recently rethemed our 5 year old son's room. His eyes lit up when he saw his Spiderman/Avengers themed room for the first time.
We were able to work with the bright blue paint we had used for his nursery theme. You will definitely want to take the time to do two coats for best results with such a vivid color. We learned this the hard way. On the upside, we are glad we splurged for the better paint because the walls have been easy to clean.
I had so much fun shopping Amazon for wonderful pieces to bring my idea to life.
My Son loves this accent pillow. There is also a Hulk version which my son would love to have too. Hulk Smash!
We just slipped an old pillow from an old theme inside the cover. It is made to fit a 15"x15" or 16"x16" pillow insert.
Here is a great deal on some great hypoallergenic pillow inserts I found that I use in our master bedroom and on the couch in the living room as well.
I found a couple other awesome options for decorative pillows for a Super Hero themed room. Iron Man is nice and plush. The different textures we included in his room have met our son’s sensory needs really well.
I found a great set of four canvas Spiderman art pieces that were very affordable to hang on his walls. They had our son practicing the moves all over our house. Another affordable option for art to hang on the walls I considered was these very cool Avengers themed pieces, and these awesome comic book cover pieces.
For Storage I found these 11x11 storage cubes that come in several themes other than Spiderman, and also come in a 2 pack or a 4 pack.
For a bookcase, we have bought these themed Delta Bookcases multiple times and they have worked great. It is an awesome height for toddler and small school aged kids to teach them to put their own stuff back.
